Shall we not receive evil?

Job 2:10 But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Many of us, we are elated when God answers our prayers in a way we expect them to be answered but are crestfallen when we have to go through sickness or suffering. Here in today's verse Job is questioning back his wife, actually answering her saying that we not only should receive blessings from God but also should receive sufferings. If we see the context of the verse Job was a blameless, upright and God fearing man. God allowed satan to test him to prove that his servant is indeed a blameless and upright one. So as a part of testing when satan took away all his property and children, Job still worshiped God and did not charge God with wrong. Later satan even got permission from God to afflict Job with loathsome sores from head to foot and because of that Job sat in ashes and scraped himself with a piece of pottery. Seeing his misery his wife told him to curse God and die Job 1 and 2. To that Job answered with a question, Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil? Job chose to praise God even in his trials and sickness and suffering.

Today the Lord is posing the same question to us through this verse. I do not know about you but I have a hard time accepting some of the things God allows into my life. Especially when God gives a promise to me I start expecting the answer for that promise in a certain way and at certain time. And when that does not happen I become sad, depressed and angry with God. But God in His abundant mercy reminds me gently of Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Yes dear ones, God has a purpose and plan for our life even when it seems like there isn't one. When we surrender our lives to Him in obedience He will bring them to pass. But the process of fulfilling His purpose is not a path of roses but is a path of roses and thorns both. Along the way, He surprises us with unexpected blessings and prunes us with unwanted sufferings. But through it all He works all things together for our good Romans 8:28. If you are going through a season of joy praise Him for your blessings and for His favor upon you. If you are going through a season of sickness or suffering praise Him for He shall turn it to your good. He builds endurance and character into us through pain and suffering Romans 5:3,4. So we need to praise Him all the more during a season of suffering.

Remember the ultimate purpose of Christmas is the Cross and there won't be any Cross without Christmas.No season without reason and no reason without season.

కీడును మనము అనుభవింపతగదా

యోబు 2: 10 అందుకతడు మూర్ఖురాలు మాటలాడు నట్లు నీవు మాటలాడు చున్నావు; మనము దేవుని వలన మేలు అనుభవించుదుమా, కీడును మనము అనుభవింపతగదా అనెను. ఈ సంగతులలో ఏ విషయమందును యోబు నోటి మాటతోనైనను పాపము చేయలేదు.

మనలో అనేక మందిమి, మన ప్రార్థనలకు  మనము ఊహించిన విధముగా దేవుడు జవాబు ఇచ్చినట్లయితే ఎంతో సంతోషంతో ఉప్పొంగిపోతాము కాని అలానే ఒక వేళ వ్యాధి లేదా శ్రమలు వస్తే మాత్రము చాలా దిగులుతో నిరాశ పడిపోతాము. ఈ రోజు వాక్య భాగము లో యోబు తన భార్యను తిరిగి ప్రశ్నించు చున్నారు అసలు చెప్పాలంటే ఆమెకు సమాధానము చెబుతున్నారు మనము దేవుని వద్ద నుండి ఆశీర్వాదాలు మాత్రమే కాదు శ్రమలు కూడా స్వీకరించాలి అని. వాక్యము యొక్క సందర్భాన్ని చూసినట్లయితే యోబు యదార్థవంతుడు, న్యాయవంతుడు మరియు దేవుని యందు భయ భక్తులు కలిగిన వ్యక్తి. దేవుడు తన భక్తుడు నిజముగానే  యదార్థవంతుడు, న్యాయవంతుడు అని నిరూపించడానికి ఆయన సాతానుకు యోబును పరీక్షించడానికి అనుమతినిచ్చారు. అందుకే పరీక్షలో భాగముగా సాతాను తన పిల్లలను మరియు ఆస్తిని తీసుకున్నప్పుడు కూడా యోబు దేవునిని స్తుతించెను మరియు ఆయన దేవుడు అన్యాయము చేసేనని చెప్ప లేదు. తరువాత సాతాను దేవుని వద్ద నుండి అనుమతి పొంది యోబుకు తల నుండి అరికాలు వరకు బాధ గల కురుపులతో మొత్తెను మరియు దాని వలన యోబు బూడిదలో కూర్చుండి ఒక చిల్ల పెంకుతో ఒళ్ళు గోకు కొనవలసి వచ్చినది. అతని బాధ చూసిన అతడి భార్య దేవునిని దూషించి మరణించమని అనెను యోబు గ్రంథము 1 మరియు 2 అధ్యాయములు . దానికి జవాబుగా యోబు దేవుని వలన మేలు అనుభవించుదుమా, కీడును మనము అనుభవింపతగదా అనెను. యోబు తన బాధలు, శ్రమలు  మరియు వ్యాధిలో కూడా దేవునిని స్తుతించుటయే ఎంచుకొనెను.

దేవుడు ఈ వాక్యము ద్వారా మనతో కూడా ఈ ప్రశ్న వేస్తున్నారు. మీ సంగతి తెలియదు కాని నాకయితే దేవుడు నా జీవితంలో అనుమతించే కొన్ని విషయాలు స్వీకరించడం చాలా కష్టంగా అనిపిస్తుంది. ముఖ్యంగా దేవుడు నాకు ఒక వాగ్ధానం ఇచ్చినప్పుడు అది ఎలా జరగాలో ఎప్పుడు జరగాలో ముందు గానే ఊహించుకోవడం మొదలు పెడతాను మరియు అది ఆ విధంగా జరగనప్పుడు బాధ పడి, నిరాశ చెందుతాను మరియు దేవుని మీద కోపం తెచ్చుకుంటాను. అయితే దేవుడు తన మహా కృపను బట్టి మృదువుగా *యిర్మియా 29: 11 ​నేను మిమ్మునుగూర్చి ఉద్దేశించిన సంగతులను నేనెరుగుదును, రాబోవు కాల మందు మీకు నిరీక్షణకలుగునట్లుగా అవి సమాధానకర మైన ఉద్దేశములేగాని హానికరమైనవి కావు; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.ని గుర్తు చేస్తారు. 

అవును ప్రియమైన వారలారా, దేవుడు మన పట్ల ప్రణాళిక మరియు ఉద్దేశము కలిగి ఉన్నారు కొన్ని సార్లు మనకు అలా అనిపించక పోయినప్పటికీ కూడా. మనము విధేయతతో మన జీవితాన్ని ఆయనకు సమర్పించు కున్నట్లయితే అప్పుడు వాటిని ఆయన మన జీవితంలో నెరవేరుస్తారు. అయితే ఆ నెరవేర్చే ప్రక్రియ పూలబాట మాత్రము కాదు కాని పూలు మరియు ముళ్ళు కలగలిసిన బాట. దారిలో ఆయన మనము ఊహించని ఆశీర్వాదాలతో ఆశ్చర్యపరుస్తారు మరియు  ఆశించని  శ్రమల ద్వారా మనలను శుద్ధి పరుస్తారు. అయితే అన్నిటిలో కూడా సమస్తమును మన మేలు కొరకు జరగిస్తారు రోమీయులకు 8:28 మీరు ఒక వేళ సంతోష సమయములో ఉన్నట్లయితే దేవునిని స్తుతించండి ఆయన ఆశీర్వాదము కొరకు మరియు ఆయన మీ పట్ల కలిగిన కటాక్షము కొరకు. ఒక వేళ మీరు కనుక వ్యాధి బాధల గుండా వెళ్తున్నట్లయితే అప్పుడు కూడా స్తుతించండి ఆయన దానిని మన మేలుగా మార్చునని. శ్రమలు మరియు బాధల ద్వారా ఆయన మనలో ఓర్పును మరియు మంచి వ్యక్తిత్వాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు రోమీయులకు 5:3,4. అందుకనే శ్రమలలో మనము దేవునిని మరి ఎక్కువగా స్తుతించాలి. 

ఇది గుర్తుంచుకొనండి, క్రిస్టమస్ యొక్క అంతిమ ఉద్దేశము సిలువ అలానే క్రిస్టమస్ లేకుండా సిలువ ఉండదు. కారణము లేని సమయము లేదు మరియు సమయము లేకుండా ఏ కారణము లేదు (No season without reason and no reason without season)

 Oil of gladness

Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions

This verse mentioned in the book of Hebrews is quoted from Psalm 45, a wedding song. Some say that this psalm is sung during the marriage ceremony of David with one of his wives and some say that this is an analogy of heavenly wedding wherein Christ is the bridegroom and church His bride. The psalm may or may not have been a wedding song of David but inclusion of this verse here in Hebrews affirms that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and that He is God and that His kingdom will be established forever.

Now if we  look at the different keywords of the verse, anointed, anointing the body or head was a common practice with the Jews and some other nations during Old Testament time. Anointing head with oil is done to priests, to kings and to guests. Inanimate objects were also anointed to set apart for religious purposes. In New Testament anointing of oil is done to pray for the healing of the sick. In this verse anointing with oil of gladness means spiritual anointment i.e. the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Beyond your companions means exaltation above others. So Christ is the anointed one by God and God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him the name above all names, Philippians 2:9. Also God in His mercy did not limit the spiritual anointment to only His son Jesus but gave this privilege to even all those who believe in His son. And for believers spiritual anointment expresses the sanctifying influences of the Holy Spirit upon them who are priests and kings unto God.

The verse also says that He loved righteousness and hated wickedness. And because of that we can be assured that God does not allow wickedness to prevail but will certainly avenge His people in His righteousness. When Christ shall return, He shall rule this world in righteousness and justice. for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity. Psalms 98:9 and His kingdom is going to stay forever and ever.

So dear believers 

• rejoice in this, the present sufferings and injustice of this world are going to last only for sometime after that when our Lord returns we will be part of new heaven and new earth where righteousness dwells and justice prevails. But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.2 Peter 3:13
• Rejoice in this that we are delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of His beloved son Colossians 1:13
• And more importantly rejoice in the fact that because of Jesus the anointing of Holy Spirit is not limited to some chosen ones but available to all of us His children, we can all be clothed with the oil of gladness as promised in Isaiah 61:3 (...the oil of gladness instead of mourning, ...that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified)  And because of this anointing of the Spirit we can lead a victorious life even here on earth. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.Romans 8:11

The LORD will fulfill

Psalm 138:8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.

Many of us believers know that God has a will and purpose for our lives and some of us even pray to God earnestly to reveal them to us. But how many of us has this confidence that God will fulfill his purpose for us? I mean it is one thing to pray to God and say that we will walk in a way that will enable us to accomplish His purpose in our lives and another thing to trust that He will fulfill inspite of us i.e. inspite of our weaknesses, disobedience and failures God is still able to fulfill His purpose for us. If we look at the life of Abraham we see that he did mess up at times by taking his own decisions instead of seeking Gods guidance and would have almost missed out on the promised child. But God did intervene and fulfilled His purpose. Similarly in the life of Samson God gave him one last chance and accomplished His purpose.  Like these we can see many more examples in the pages of the Bible. A word of caution though, yes God is able to fulfill His purpose inspite of our failures but then we do have to suffer the consequences of our disobedience and sin. Like in the life of Abraham, his visit to Egypt and his marriage to Hagar brought so much of headache into his life and his family and even now those consequences are still bore by God's children. In case of Samson his disobedience costed him his life, he did not live to see his victory over the philistines.

Here in today's verse the psalmist, king David is confidently declaring that the LORD will fulfill his purposes for him. It is not because he is confident that he will never fail or he will never disobey God, no but his confidence rested in the character of God. If we see the later part of the verse it says 'your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever'. This is where David's confidence was hidden, because God's steadfast love endures for ever and because God is such a loving God He will not disown his people or give up on them half way but will finish what He has started and accomplish His will and purpose through their lives. 

Dear ones, our calling and election is not based on us, it is God who chooses. You did not choose me but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide God. John 15:16 Gods choosing and election, we can never comprehend. He chose a normal fisherman like Peter to build His church and He chose Paul, someone who hated Christians, to spread forth His gospel to the gentiles. He chose Daniel and he chose David. He chose Joseph and He chose Samson. So like apostle Paul mentioned in his letter to Corinthians God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to things that are so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 1 Corinthians 1:27-29.

So dear one, if God is calling you for something do not hold back in fear or if God has given you a vision on something do not be disheartened if it gets delayed, for whatever God has purposed He will fulfill. He has a purpose for your life and my life and He will fulfill it no matter what for His glory. Our job is to obediently walk before Him and then we and those around us can enjoy the riches of His blessings here on earth and there in heaven.

Beautiful in its time

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 

The first part of this verse is used as a promise verse in wedding cards. It is apt there because a wedding is a beautiful time of merry and rejoicing. But then the key word in the verse is 'everything'. King Solomon the author of this book Ecclesiastes starts the chapter saying For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 then he goes on explaining what those different things are ..a time to be born and a time to die....a time to weep and a time to laugh....a time for war and a time for peace Ecclesiastes 3:2-8. And in verse 11 he says that God made everything beautiful in its time. 

Facing a death and wedding on consecutive days this week I realized how apt this verse is for a human life. Both these days of mourning and dancing God ordained and appointed before itself. Many times we may not understand why, especially the sad times that we go through but as per His word He has made everything beautiful in its time. If you are waiting for a job or waiting for a life partner or waiting for a breakthrough in your career or marriage or something else, whatever it is that you are waiting for, I cannot say that your waiting is going to end in so and so time no but I can say this with confidence that even this waiting is made by or allowed by God and it is beautiful. 

Gods word also says that He made everything for its purpose Proverbs 16:4 and everything created by God is good 1 Timothy 4:4. So the sorrows we face and the joyful times we experience, the pain and suffering we go through and the blessings we receive everything is made by God and it is good and it is beautiful in its time. Indeed there is a time and season for everything in a human life and all of these times and seasons are beautiful because they are made by God. 

And the second half of the verse says that God has put eternity into mans heart even then he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. There goes this famous saying that every human heart is a void which only God can fill. It is so true...until our hearts find Jesus they are restless. No matter how much successful a person is or no matter how much of prestige and power they earn if they have not found God their hearts will never experience true rest. We are made in the image of God and until we find our creator and invite Him into our hearts there is no true fulfillment. At the same time "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29 that's why we cannot understand everything that God does. But one thing we can be assured of is that all things work together for good for those who love God and called according to His purpose Romans 8:28. 

If you are someone who has not accepted Jesus into your heart then no matter how much ever you try to distract yourself with pleasure or success or work or any thing apart from God for that matter, your heart will never find true rest or peace or fulfillment. Take a step of faith and invite Jesus into your heart today itself for Today is the day of Salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2c

On things above

Colossians 3:1-2 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

However rich we are and how much ever luxurious life we live here on earth one day we have to leave all this and go to be with the Lord. As humans we work hard and store up treasures on this earth for making our life and our children's lives more comfortable. Even though we know nothing on this earth is permanent we still strive for making our lives better as long as we live on this earth. If we work and strive for things that are going to remain for short how much more we need to strive on things that are going to remain eternal. 

Especially we believers who are raised with Christ we need to seek things that are above where Christ is seated. In our verse today, what apostle Paul mean by seeking things above is we need to set our hearts on heaven. We need to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness for these are the things that are going to remain forever. We need to work on developing our relationship with the Lord because it is the one thing that is going to matter in the end. We are not going to carry any material possession or even for that matter any gifts/talents to heaven with us. Personally I believe except for the gift of singing we will not need any other spiritual gift there in heaven, yup not any healing, not any prophecy or not any speaking of tongues none of these we need there in heaven.

So what happens when we seek things above? When our focus shifts from the things of the earth to heaven then we will not feel the sufferings and pains of the world to be very burdensome. For we know that these are just a drop in the ocean compared to the eternal joy we are going to have. When we understand how delightful heaven is going to be we will not be concerned about what we have and do not have on this earth. For we know that on heaven we are going to enjoy the presence of God forever without any shadow and there will be no more tears and no more pain. Any sickness will not feel unbearable and any kind of unmet need will not look so important for we know that in heaven we are going to have glorious bodies and that we will not carry anything or any relation to heaven with us.
Also when we seek things that are above we will not hold on to any material things or any person of this world. When we hold things very loosely and when we have zero expectations from people around then we will have less disappointments even in this life. And instead of focusing on how to preserve and enlarge our possessions of this world and how people treat us our focus will be on how we can please the Lord and how we can spread this good news to others so that they also can enjoy this eternity with the Lord.


That's why dear ones set your hearts on things above not on the things of this world (v 2). For the things that we see are transient and things that are unseen are eternal 2 Corinthians 4:18b

ఆనందతైలము

హెబ్రీయులకు 1: 9 నీవు నీతిని ప్రేమించితివి దుర్నీతిని ద్వేషించితివి అందుచేత దేవుడు నీతోడివారికంటె నిన్ను హెచ్చించునట్లుగా ఆనందతైలముతో అభిషేకించెను.

హెబ్రీయుల పత్రికలో పేర్కొన బడిన ఈ వాక్యము వివాహ కీర్తనగా అనబడే 45వ కీర్తన నుండి తీసుకొని ప్రస్తావించబడినది (quoted from). కొంత మంది ఈ కీర్తన దావీదు మహారాజు యొక్క ఒక భార్యతో జరిగిన వివాహం లో పాడిన పాట అంటారు మరి కొంత మంది ఇది పరలోకపు వివాహమునకు సాదృశ్యముగా ఉన్నది, యేసు క్రీస్తు పెండ్లి కుమారుడు మరియు సంఘము ఆయన వధువు అని. మరి నిజముగా ఈ కీర్తన దావీదు వివాహమందు పాడబడినదో లేదో తెలియదు కాని, ఈ పత్రికలో ఈ వాక్యము ప్రస్తావించుట వలన యేసు క్రీస్తు మెస్సయ్యా అని మరియు ఆయన దేవుడని మరియు ఆయన రాజ్యము నిత్యము నిలిచి ఉండునని పునరుద్ఘాటించ బడినది. 

ఇక వాక్యము లోని మూల పదాలు చూసినట్లయితే, అభిషేకించెను , తలను లేదా పూర్తి శరీరాన్ని నూనెతో అభిషేకము చేయడము అనేది పాత నిబంధన కాలములో, యూదులకు మరియు కొన్ని దేశముల ప్రజలకు వాడుక అయిన పద్ధతే. ముఖ్యముగా తలను నూనెతో అభిషేకించడము అనేది యాజకులకు, రాజులకు మరియు అతిథులకు చేయడం జరిగేది. ఇంకా జీవం లేని వస్తువులకు అభిషేకం చేయడం అనేది వాటిని మత సబంధ విషయాలకు వేరుగా ఉంచుటకు జరిగేది. కొత్త నిబంధన కాలమునకు వస్తే నూనెతో అభిషేకము రోగులకు స్వస్థత కొరకు ప్రార్థించే టప్పుడు చేస్తారు. ఈ వచనములో ఆనందతైలముతో అభిషేకము అనగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక అభిషేకము అంటే పరిశుద్దాత్మ అభిషేకము అని అర్థము. నీతోడివారికంటె అనగా హెచ్చింపు అని అర్థము. కనుక క్రీస్తు దేవుని చేత అభిషేకింప బడినవాడు మరియ దేవుడు ఆయనను అధికముగా హెచ్చించి, ప్రతి నామమునకు పైనామమును ఆయనకు అనుగ్రహించెను. ఫిలిప్పీయులకు 2: 11. అంతే కాదు దేవుడు తన కృపను బట్టి పరిశుద్దాత్మ అభిషేకమును కేవలము తన కుమారునికే పరిమితం చేయ లేదు కాని ఆయన కుమారుని యందు విశ్వాసముంచిన అందరికీ ఈ ధన్యతను ఇచ్చి యునారు.  అయితే విశ్వాసులకు పరిశుద్దాత్మ అభిషేకము అనేది దేవుని యందు రాజులు మరియు యాజకులయిన వారి మీద  పరిశుద్దాత్మ యొక్క పవిత్రీకరణ ప్రభావములను వ్యక్తము చేస్తుంది.

ఈ రోజు వచనము ఇంకా ఏమి చెబుతున్నది అంటే ఆయన నీతిని ప్రేమించెను మరియు దుర్నీతిని ద్వేషించెను అని. అందువలననే మనము భరోసా గా ఉండవచ్చు, దేవుడు దుర్నీతిని వ్యాప్తి చెందనివ్వరు అని మరియు తన నీతిని బట్టి తన ప్రజల పక్షమున ప్రతీకారము తప్పక తీర్చును అని. క్రీస్తు తిరిగి వచ్చినప్పుడు ఈ ప్రపంచమును నీతి న్యాయములతో పరిపాలన చేసెదరు భూమికి తీర్పు తీర్చుటకై నీతిని బట్టి లోకమునకు తీర్పు తీర్చుటకై న్యాయమును బట్టి జనములకు తీర్పు తీర్చుటకై యెహోవా వేంచేసియున్నాడు.కీర్తనలు 98: 9 మరియు ఆయన రాజ్యము తరతరములు నిలిచి యుండును.

అందుకే ప్రియమైన విశ్వాసి 

• దీని యందు ఆనందించు, ప్రస్తుత కష్టములు మరియు ఈ లోకములోని అన్యాయము ఇంక కొంత కాలము వరకే ఉంటాయి తర్వాత మన ప్రభువు తిరిగి వచ్చినప్పుడు నీతి నివసించే, న్యాయము వ్యాప్తి చెందే కొత్త పరలోకం మరియు కొత్త భూమి యందు మనము పాలి భాగస్తులము అవుతాము. అయినను మనమాయన వాగ్దానమునుబట్టి క్రొత్త ఆకాశముల కొరకును క్రొత్త భూమికొరకును కనిపెట్టుచున్నాము; వాటియందు నీతి నివసించును.2పేతురు 3: 13
• దీని యందు ఆనందించు, ఆయన మనలను అంధకార సంబంధమైన అధికారములో నుండి విడుదలచేసి, తాను ప్రేమించిన తన కుమారునియొక్క(మూలభాషలో-తన ప్రేమ కుమారుని) రాజ్యనివాసులనుగా చేసెను. కొలస్సీయులకు 1: 13 అని.
• ఇంక మరి ముఖ్యముగా ఈ విషయమందు ఆనందించు, యేసు క్రీస్తు మూలముగా పరిశుద్దాత్మ అభిషేకము కేవలము ఎన్నికోన బడిన కొందరికే పరిమితము కాలేదు కాని ఆయన పిల్లల మైన మనము అందరము కూడా ఆనందతైలముతో అభిషేకించ బడవచ్చుని. ...దుఃఖమునకు ప్రతిగా ఆనందతైలమును... వారికిచ్చుటకును ఆయన నన్ను పంపియున్నాడు. యెహోవా తన్ను మహిమపరచుకొనునట్లు నీతి అను మస్తకివృక్షములనియు యెహోవా నాటిన చెట్లనియు వారికి పేరు పెట్ట బడును.యెషయా 61: 3. మరియు ఈ పరిశుద్దాత్మ అభిషేకము వలన మనము ఈ లోకములో కూడా జయ జీవితమును జీవించ గలుగుతాము. ఎందుచేతనంటే    మృతులలో నుండి యేసును లేపినవాని ఆత్మ మీలో నివసించినయెడల, మృతులలో నుండి క్రీస్తుయేసును లేపినవాడు చావునకులోనైన మీ శరీరములను కూడ మీలో నివసించుచున్న తన ఆత్మద్వారా జీవింపజేయును.రోమీయులకు 8: 11

యెహోవా సఫలము చేయును

కీర్తనలు 138: 8 యెహోవా నా పక్షమున కార్యము సఫలముచేయును. యెహోవా, నీ కృప నిరంతరముండును

విశ్వాసులమైన మనలో అనేక మందికి దేవుడు మన పట్ల చిత్తము మరియు ఉద్దేశము కలిగి ఉన్నారని తెలుసు అలానే కొంత మందిమి వాటిని మనకు తెలియ జెప్పమని దేవునికి శ్రద్ధగా ప్రార్థన కూడా చేస్తాము. అయితే మనలో ఎంత మందిమి దేవుడు తన ఉద్దేశ్యాన్ని మన పట్ల నేర వేరుస్తారు అని నమ్ముతాము? అంటే దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేసి ప్రభువా మీ ఉద్దేశాలు నా జీవితంలో నెరవేరుటకు ఏ విధంగా నడవాలో దానికి అనుగుణముగా నడుచుకొంటాను అని చెప్పడం ఒక ఎత్తు ఇంక ఆయన నన్ను బట్టి కూడా నా జీవితంలో తన ఉద్దేశాన్నీ నేరవేరుస్తారు అని నమ్మడం  అంటే నేను ఆవిధేయత, బలహీనతలు, మరియు ఓటములు కలిగి ఉన్నప్పటికీ దేవుడు తన ఉద్దేశాలను నా జీవితంలో నెరవేరుస్తారు అని నమ్మడం ఇంకొక ఎత్తు. మనము కనుక అబ్రాహాము జీవితాన్ని చూసినట్లయితే ఆయన కొన్ని మార్లు దేవునిని సంప్రదించకుండా తన సొంత నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకొని తన జీవితాన్ని గందరగోళం చేసుకున్నారు మరియు దాదాపు వాగ్దాన పుత్రుడిని కోల్పోయే పరిస్థితిని తెచ్చుకున్నారు. అయితే దేవుడు కలుగ జేసుకొని తన ఉద్దేశాన్ని నెరవేర్చారు. అలానే సంసోను జీవితంలో దేవుడు అతనికి మరియొక ఆఖరి అవకాశం ఇచ్చి ఆయన ఉద్దేశాన్ని నెరవేర్చారు. ఇలా అనేక ఉదాహరణలు మనము బైబిల్ పుటలలో చూడ వచ్చును. అయితే ఒక హెచ్చరిక గమనించండి, మన ఓటములతో పని లేకుండా దేవుడు తన ఉద్దేశాలను నెరవేర్చు సమర్థుడు కాని మనము మన అవిధేయతకు మరియు పాపమునకు పరిణామాలు అనుభవించాల్సిందే. ఎలా అంటే అబ్రాహాము జీవితంలో ఐగుప్తు వెళ్లడం మరియు హాగరును పెళ్లి చేసుకోవడం వలన తన జీవితంలో మరియు తన కుటుంబంలో అనేక తలనెప్పులు తెచ్చు కున్నాడు ఇంకా చెప్పాలంటే దాని పరిణామాలు దేవుని బిడ్డలు ఇప్పటికీ అనుభవిస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. అలానే సంసోను యొక్క ఆవిధేయత తన ప్రాణము మీదికే తెచ్చింది, అతడు ఫిలిస్తీయుల మీద విజయాన్ని ప్రాణముతో ఉండగా చూడలేక పోయాడు. 

ఇక ఈ రోజు వాక్య భాగములో చూసినట్లయితే కీర్తనాకారుడైన, దావీదు మహారాజు చాలా నమ్మకంతో చెబుతున్నారు దేవుడు తన పక్షమున కార్యము సఫలం చేయును అని అనగా దేవుడు తన జీవితంలో ఆయన ఉద్దేశాలను నెరవేర్చును అని. తాను ఇంక ఎప్పుడూ ఆవిధేయత చూపను లేదా ఓటమి పోందను అని నమ్ముట వలన ఆయన ఇలా అనలేదు కాని దేవుని యొక్క గుణమును బట్టి ఇలా చెప్ప గలిగారు. వచనము యొక్క తదుపరి భాగమును చూసినట్లయితే ఈ విధంగా ఉంది యెహోవా, నీ కృప నిరంతరముండును దీని యందే దావీదు యొక్క నమ్మకము నిలిచి ఉన్నది, దేవుని కృప నిరంతరము నిలిచి ఉండును కనుక మరియు దేవుడు ఎంతో ప్రేమామయుడు కనుక ఆయన తన ప్రజలను ఎన్నడునూ మధ్యలో విడిచి పెట్టక ఆయన మొదలు పెట్టిన కార్యమును పూర్తి చేయును మరియు ఆయన తన చిత్తమును మరియు ఉద్దేశమును వారి జీవితాలలో జరిగించును. 

ప్రియమైన వారలారా, మన పిలుపు మరియు ఎన్నిక మనను బట్టి కాదు, అది దేవుడే నిర్ణయిస్తారు. మీరు నన్ను ఏర్పరచుకొనలేదు;.. మీరు వెళ్లి ఫలించుటకును, మీ ఫలము నిలిచియుండుటకును నేను మిమ్మును ఏర్పరచుకొని నియమించితిని.యోహాను 15: 16 దేవుని పిలుపు మరియు ఎన్నిక మనకు గ్రహింప శక్యం కాదు. ఆయన సాధారణ బెస్తవాడైన పేతురును తన సంఘమును కట్టుటకు ఎన్నుకొనెను మరియు క్రైస్తవులను హింసించుచున్న పౌలును అన్యజనులకు సువార్తను చాటుటకు ఎన్నుకొనెను. ఆయన దానియేలును ఎన్నుకొనెను మరియు దావీదును ఎన్నుకొనెను, ఏసేపును ఎన్నుకొనెను మరియు సంసోనును ఎన్నుకొనెను. కాబట్టి అపొస్తలుడైన పౌలు కోరింధీయులకు వ్రాసిన పత్రికలో చెప్పిన్నట్లు ఏ శరీరియు దేవుని యెదుట అతిశయింపకుండునట్లు, జ్ఞానులను సిగ్గుపరచుటకు లోకములోనుండు వెఱ్ఱివారిని దేవుడు ఏర్పరచుకొనియున్నాడు. బలవంతులైన వారిని సిగ్గుపరచుటకు లోకములో బలహీనులైనవారిని దేవుడు ఏర్పరచుకొని యున్నాడు. ఎన్నికైన వారిని వ్యర్థము చేయుటకు లోకములో నీచులైనవారిని, తృణీకరింప బడినవారిని, ఎన్నికలేని వారిని దేవుడు ఏర్పరచుకొనియున్నాడు. 1కోరింథీయులకు 1: 27-29

అందుకే ప్రియమైన వారలారా, ఒక వేళ దేవుడు మిమ్ములను దేనికైనా పిలుస్తుంటే భయముతో వెనకడుగు వేయవద్దు లేదా ఒక వేళ దేవుడు మీకు ఇచ్చిన దర్శనము నెరవేరుటలో ఆలస్యము జరుగుతున్నట్లయితే నిరాశ చెందవద్దు ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు తాను ఉద్దేశించిన దానిని తప్పక నెరవేరుస్తారు. ఆయన మీ జీవితం పట్ల మరియు నా జీవితం పట్ల ఒక ఉద్దేశం కలిగి ఉన్నారు మరియ ఏది ఏమయినా కూడా ఆయన దానిని తన మహిమార్థమై తప్పక జరిగించును. మన పని మాత్రము ఆయన ఎదుట విధేయతతో నడచుకొనుటయే అప్పుడు మనము మరియు మన చుట్టూ ఉన్నవారు ఆయన ఆశీర్వాదాల యొక్క మహాదైశ్వర్యాలను ఈ లోకములో మరియు పరలోకంలో కూడా అనుభవించ గలుగు తాము.

దాని కాలమందు చక్కనిది

ప్రసంగి 3: 11 దేనికాలమునందు అది చక్కగా నుండునట్లు సమస్తమును ఆయన నియమించియున్నాడు; ఆయన శాశ్వతకాల జ్ఞానమును నరుల హృదయమందుంచి యున్నాడుగాని దేవుడు చేయుక్రియలను పరిశీలనగా తెలిసికొనుటకు అది చాలదు.

ఈ వాక్య భాగములోని మొదటి భాగమును వివాహ ఆహ్వాన పత్రిక లో వాగ్ధాన వచనము కింద ఎక్కువగా చూస్తుంటాము. అది సరి అయినదే ఎందుకంటే వివాహము అనేది సంతోషము మరియు వేడుకతో కూడిన అందమైన విషయం. అయితే ఈ వచనములో మూల పదం సమస్తము. ఈ ప్రసంగి గ్రంథాన్ని వ్రాసిన సొలొమోను రాజు అధ్యాయాన్ని ఈ విధంగా చెబుతూ మొదలు పెట్టారు ప్రతిదానికి (సమస్తమునకు) సమయము కలదు. ఆకాశము క్రింద ప్రతి ప్రయత్నమునకు సమయము కలదు.ప్రసంగి 3: 1 తర్వాత ఆయన ఏఏ విషయాలకు సంబంధించి సమయము కలదో వివరించారు ....పుట్టుటకు,చచ్చుటకు...ఏడ్చుటకు నవ్వుటకు...యుద్ధము చేయుటకు సమాధాన పడుటకు ప్రసంగి 3:2-8. మరియు వ 11లో దేవుడు సమస్తమును దేనికాలమునందు అది చక్కగా నుండునట్లు నియమించియున్నాడు అని చెప్పారు.

ఈ వారంలో ఒక చావు మరియు వివాహం పక్క పక్కన రోజులలో జరగడం చూసిన తరువాత ఈ వచనాలు మానవ జీవితానికి ఎంత వర్తిస్తాయి అనే గ్రహింపు నాకు కలిగింది. బాధతో మరియు సంతోషముతో నిండిన ఈ రెండు దినాలు కూడా దేవుడు ముందు గానే నియమించి యున్నారు. చాలా సార్లు  ముఖ్యంగా మన దుఃఖ భరితమైన సమయాలలో ఎందుకు అనేది మనకు అర్థం కాదు అయితే దేవుని వాక్యము ప్రకారము సమస్తమును దేనికాలమునందు అది చక్కగా నుండునట్లు దేవుడు నియమించియున్నాడు. ఒక వేళ మీరు కనుక ఉద్యోగం కోసం లేదా జీవిత భాగస్వామి కోసం లేదా మీ ఉద్యోగములో లేదా వివాహ జీవితంలో ఒక పురోగతి కోసం లేదా వేరే ఎదో ఒకదాని కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్నట్లయితే నేను ఫలాన ఫలానా సమయంలో మీ ఎదురు చూపు ముగిస్తుంది అని చెప్ప లేను కాని ఒక విషయాన్ని మాత్రం ఖచ్చితంగా చెప్ప గలను ఈ ఎదురు చూపు కూడా దేవుడు రానిచ్చినదే లేదంటే నియమించినదే మరియు అది కూడా చక్కనిదే.

దేవుని వాక్యము ఇది కూడా చెబుతున్నది దేవుడు ప్రతి వస్తువును దాని దాని పని నిమిత్తము కలుగ జేసేను సామెతలు 16:4 మరియు దేవుడు సృజించిన ప్రతి వస్తువును మంచిది 1 తిమోతి 4:4 అని. అందుకే మనము ఎదుర్కొనే ప్రతి దుఃఖము మరియు అనుభవించే ప్రతి సంతోషము, పడే ప్రతి బాధ మరియు కష్టము మరియు పొందే ప్రతి ఆశీర్వాదము సమస్తము దేవుని చేత చేయబడినవే మరియు అవి మంచివి మరియు వాటి సమయమందు అవి చక్కనివి. నిజముగా మానవ జీవితంలో ప్రతి విషయమునకు  సమయము కలదు మరియు అవి చక్కనివి ఎందుకంటే అవి దేవుని చేత నియమించబడినవి కనుక.

ఇక వాక్యము లోని రెండవ భాగము చెబుతున్నది *దేవుడు శాశ్వతకాల జ్ఞానమును నరుల హృదయమందుంచి యున్నాడుగాని దేవుడు చేయుక్రియలను పరిశీలనగా తెలిసికొనుటకు అది చాలదు అని. ఒక ప్రముఖ వాడుక ఉంది మన హృదయం దేవుడు ఒక్కడే నింపగలిన ఒక శూన్యము అని. అది ఎంత నిజము...క్రీస్తును కనుగొను వరకు మన హృదయాలకు విరామము లేదు. ఒక వ్యక్తి ఎంత విజయం సాధించినా మరియు ఎంత ప్రఖ్యాతులు మరియు అధికారం సంపాదించినా వారు కనుక దేవునిని కనుగొనక పోతే వారు నిజమైన సమాధానం పొందలేరు. మనము దేవుని స్వరూపమందు చేయ బడిన వారము మరియు మన సృష్టి కర్తను కనుగొనే వరకు మరియు ఆయనను మన హృదయం లోనికి ఆహ్వానించే వరకు నిజమైన సఫలత మనకు ఉండదు. అదే సమయంలో రహస్యములు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు చెందును. అయితే మనము ఈ ధర్మ శాస్త్ర వాక్యములన్నిటి ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనునట్లు బయలుపరచబడినవి యెల్లప్పుడు మనవియు మన సంతతి వారివియునగునని చెప్పుదురు. ద్వితియోపదేశకాండము 29: 29 అందు వలననే దేవుడు చేసే ప్రతీది మనము అర్థము చేసుకోలేము. అయితే ఒక విషయములో నిశ్చయత కలిగి ఉండవచ్చు దేవుడు తనను ప్రేమించిన వారికి సమస్తమును సమకూర్చి మేలు కొరకు జరిగించును అని రోమీయులకు 8:28

మీరు కనుక ఇంకనూ క్రీస్తును మీ హృదయంలో అంగీకరించని వారు అయితే మీరు విలాసాలతో లేదా పనితో లేదా విజయాలతో లేదా చెప్పాలంటే దేవుడు తప్ప ఇంక ఏ విషయంతో అయినా మీ మనస్సును ఎంతగా పరధ్యానం (distract) పట్టించాలని  ప్రయత్నించినా మీకు నిజమైన సమాధానము లేదా విరామము లేదా సఫలత దొరకదు. అందుకే విశ్వాసములో ఒక అడుగు ముందుకు వేసి క్రీస్తును మీ హృదయములోనికి ఆహ్వానించండి ఎందుకంటే నేడే రక్షణ దినము 2 కోరింథీయులకు 6:2

పైనున్న వాటి మీద

కొలస్సీయులకు 3: 1-2 మీరు క్రీస్తుతో కూడ లేపబడినవారైతే పైనున్న వాటినే వెదకుడి, అక్కడ క్రీస్తు దేవుని కుడిపార్శ్వమున కూర్చుండి యున్నాడు. పైనున్న వాటి మీదనేగాని, భూసంబంధమైన వాటిమీద మనస్సు పెట్టుకొనకుడి;

మనము ఎంత గొప్ప వారమైనా మరియు ఎంత విలాసవంతమైన జీవితాన్ని జీవించినప్పటికి ఒక దినమున మనము అంతటినీ వదిలి పెట్టి దేవుని వద్దకు వెళ్లాల్సినదే. మానవులముగా మనము కష్ట పడి పని చేసి మనము మరియు మన పిల్లలు సౌకర్యవంతమైన  జీవితం గడపాలని ఈ లోక ఆస్తులను కూడ బెట్టుకుంటాం. ఈ లోకము లోనిది ఏదీ శాశ్వతం కాదని తెలిసినా కూడా మనము ఈ లోకంలో బ్రతికినంత కాలము మన జీవితం మంచి స్థితిలో ఉండటానికి ప్రయత్నము చేస్తూనే ఉంటాము. మరి కొంచెము కాలము ఉండే విషయాల కొరకు మనము ఇంత కష్ట పడితే శాశ్వతమైన పరలోక సంబంధమైన విషయాల కొరకు ఇంకా ఎంత ఎక్కువ కష్ట పడాలి. 

ముఖ్యముగా క్రీస్తుతో కూడా లేప పడిన, విశ్వాసుల మైన మనము క్రీస్తు కూర్చుండి యున్న ఆ పైనున్న వాటినే వెదక వలెను. ఈ రోజు వాక్య భాగములో, పైనున్న వాటిని వెదుకుడి అని అపొస్తలుడైన పౌలు గారు అనడంలో అర్థం ఏమిటంటే మనము మన మనస్సులను పరలోకం మీద ఉంచాలి అని. మనము దేవుని రాజ్యమును మరియు ఆయన నీతిని వేదకాలి ఎందుకంటే ఎప్పటికీ ఉండి పోయేవి అవే కనుక. మనము దేవునితో మన సంబంధమును పెంచు కోవడానికి ప్రయత్నము చెయ్యాలి ఎందుకంటే చివరిలో ఈ విషయం ఒక్కటే అవసరం అవుతుంది. మనతో కూడా ఏ ఆస్తులను ఇంకా చెప్పాలంటే ఏ ఫలాలు మరియు తలాంతులను కూడా పరలోకానికి తీసుకు వెళ్ళ లేము. వ్యక్తి గతంగా నేను ఏమి నమ్ముతా నంటే పాడడం మినహాయించి ఏ ఆత్మీయ ఫలాలు లేదా తలాంతులు మనకు పరలోకంలో అవసర పడవు అని, అవును ఏ స్వస్థత, ఏ ప్రవచనం, ఏ భాషలలో మాట్లాడటం ఇవి ఏవీ మనకు పరలోకంలో అవసరం లేదు.

మరి అయితే పైనున్న వాటిని వేదకితే ఏమి జరుగుతుంది? మన దృష్టి లోక సంబంధ మైన విషయాల మీద నుండి పరలోకం మీదికి మరలితే అప్పుడు మనకు ఈ లోక కష్టాలు మరియు బాధలు అంత భారమైనవిగా అనిపించవు. ఎందుకంటే మనకు తెలుసు పరలోకంలో మనము అనుభవించే సంతోషము ముందు ఇవన్నీ సముద్రములో నీటి చుక్కంతటివి అని. పరలోకం ఎంత ఆనంద దాయకముగా ఉండబోతోందో అన్న విషయం మనము గ్రహించి నట్లయితే మనకు ఈ లోకములో ఏమి ఉన్నా లేక పోయినా ఏ ఆందోళన ఉండదు. ఎందుకంటే మనకు తెలుసు పర లోకములో మనము ఎటువంటి ఛాయ లేని దేవుని ప్రసన్నతను సదా కాలము అనుభవిస్తాము అని మరియు అక్కడ ఎప్పటికీ కన్నీరు ఉండదు బాధలు ఉండవు  అని. ఏ వ్యాధి కూడ భరించ లేనిదిగా అనిపించదు మరియు ఏ తీరని అవసరత కూడా అంత ముఖ్యమైనదిగా  అనిపించదు మనకు ఎందుకంటే మనకు తెలుసు పరలోకంలో మనము మహిమా శరీరాలను కలిగి ఉంటామని మరియు ఏ సంపదను మరియు సంబంధాలను అక్కడికి తీసుకొని పోలేమని.
అంతే కాదు మనము పైనున్న వాటిని వెదకినప్పుడు మనము ఈ లోక సంబంధ మైన వస్తువులను లేదా వ్యక్తిని గట్టిగా పట్టుకొని ఉండ లేము.  మనము ఎప్పుడయితే అన్నిటినీ తేలికగా పట్టుకుంటామో మరియు మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వారి వద్ద నుండి ఏమీ ఆశించకుండా ఉంటామో అప్పుడు మనకు ఈ లోకములో కూడా తక్కువ నిరాశలు ఎదురవుతాయి. అంతే కాదు మన దృష్టి ఈ లోక సంబంధ మైన సంపదను ఎలా కాపాడు కోవాలి మరియు పెద్దదిగా చెయ్యాలి మరియు ఇతరులు మనలను ఏ విధంగా చూస్తున్నారు అనే విషయాల మీద కాకుండా, మనము దేవునిని ఎలా సంతోష పెట్టాలి మరియ ఈ  శుభ వర్తమానమును ఇతరులతో ఎలా పంచు కోవాలి తద్వారా వారు కూడా పరలోకంలో సంతోషిస్తారు కదా అనే విషయాల మీద మన దృష్టి ఉంటుంది. 


అందుకనే ప్రియమైన వారలారా, పైనున్న వాటి మీదనేగాని, భూసంబంధమైన వాటిమీద మనస్సు పెట్టుకొనకుడి (వ 2). ఎందుకంటే  దృశ్యమైనవి అనిత్యములు; అదృశ్యమైనవి నిత్యములు. 2కోరింథీయులకు 4: 18

Divine weapons of warfare

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

Many think that what we see with our eyes and what we can touch or hear or feel are the only things that exist. But there is much more beyond what our eye can see or our hands can touch or what our ears can hear. And it is the spiritual realm. What happens in the spiritual realm we cannot see or hear but it sure does exist. Bible gives us many glimpses of what happens in spiritual realm for certain actions on earth. Like when Daniel prayed the allies of Satan stopped archangel from delivering the answer to him Daniel 10:12-13, then there is this instance where there is joy before the angels of God in heaven when one sinner repents Luke 15:10. Like these there are many more mentions of spiritual realm in the Bible.

When there is a strife or a conflict or a fight, we should pause and think that it is not the other person who is doing it or causing harm to us but it is the evil one who is influencing them to act in that way. Apostle Paul mentioned this clearly in Ephesians 6:12, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. That's why it is important for a child of God to understand what really is happening rather than what appears to be happening. 

It is not just with strife with others, if in your life you are going through failure inspite of repeated efforts to stand firm, child of God may be it is time to stop fighting in the strength of your flesh and start using weapons of warfare which have divine power to bring down the strongholds of the evil one. God has already given us a provision to do it. In  Ephesians 6:11-18 apostle Paul mentions about putting on the armor of God. Put on the helmet of salvation to guard your thoughts, breastplate of righteousness to guard your emotions and feelings, girdle of truth to see the things the way they are not as they appear, feet shod with the preparation of gospel of peace so that where ever you go you may be a peace maker. Shield of faith to protect yourself from the fiery darts of the enemy and sword of the spirit, Gods living word as a weapon to both defend ourselves and fight. Put on the whole armor of God before you get out of the bed every morning and Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. And for those of you who think your life is going smooth Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith.1 Peter 5:8 -9

At the same time please remember, devil is a defeated foe, he knows his time is very short that's why he is trying to take as many with him as possible to the lake of fire. Thats why we, the children of God should gird ourselves with the armor of God and pray not just for ourselves and our loved ones but also for those who are perishing that they also may come under the mighty protection of our Almighty God.

Not Condemned

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Many people argue that it is so unfair for such a loving God to send people to hell. But is it? Is it really God who is sending people to hell? To answer that let us look at today's verse, it so clearly mentions that whoever does not believe in Jesus they are already condemned. So it is not about God sending people to hell, it is the people who are making that choice. In fact in order for people to not go to hell God made a provision of sending His only son into this world that who ever believes in Him shall have eternal life ( v 16). So either you believe in Jesus and go to heaven to be with Him forever or deny Him and end up in eternal fire where worm does not die and fire is not quenched ( Mark 9:48). The choice is yours to make.

Also the reason many people do not accept Jesus is not because they do not trust in His divinity but because they are afraid that once they come under the light their evil deeds will be exposed and that they will have to leave their wicked ways ( v 19-20). Dear reader please think is it worth it to live a wicked life of pleasure on this earth and end up in hell or accept Jesus even if we have to live a life of suffering and pain here on earth but enter heaven to be with the Lord. The choice is yours to make.

Lastly either you accept it or not, the truth remains. And the truth is that Jesus is God and He is the only way to heaven. He came into this world to die for sinners like us and He is going to come back one day to rule the world along with His children who placed their trust in Him. On the day He returns every knee will bow and every tongue confess He is Lord. Do you want be with the group who will rule the world along with Jesus or you want to be with the group who has to go through tribulations. The choice is yours to make.

దైవిక యుద్ధోపకరణములు

2 కోరింథీయులకు 10: 4 మా యుద్ధోపకరణములు శరీర సంబంధమైనవి కావుగాని, దేవుని యెదుట దుర్గములను పడద్రోయజాలినంత బలముకలవైయున్నవి.

చాలా మంది ఏమనుకుంటారంటే మనము కళ్ళతో చూసేది, చెవులతో వినేది, చేతులతో తాకేది లేదంటే ముక్కుతో వాసన చూసేవి మాత్రమే ఉనికిలో ఉంటాయి అని. అయితే మన కంటికి కనిపించేదానికంటే, చెవికి వినిపించేదానికంటే మరియు మన చేయి తాకే దానికంటే ఇంకా ఎంతో ఉంది. అదే ఆధ్యాత్మిక రాజ్యం. ఆధ్యాత్మిక రాజ్యంలో జరిగేవి మన కంటికి కనిపించవు మన చెవులకు వినిపించవు అయినా అది ఉనికిలో తప్పక ఉంది. ఈ ఆధ్యాత్మిక రాజ్యము గురించి బైబిల్లో మనకు కొన్ని చోట్ల కనిపిస్తుంది, ఉదాహరణకు దానియేలు ప్రార్థించినప్పుడు అతని ప్రార్థనకు జవాబు తీసుకుని వస్తున్న ప్రధాన దూతను సైతాను అనుచర దూతలు అడ్డుకోవడం దానియేలు 10:12-13, మరియు ఇంకొక సందర్భములో ఒక పాపి పశ్చాత్తాపము పడినప్పుడు పరలోకంలో దేవ దూతల సమక్షంలో సంతోషము లూకా 15:10 ఇలా కొన్ని చోట్ల పరలోకంలో జరిగే విషయాలు బైబిల్ లో ప్రస్తావించడం చూస్తాము.

ఎప్పుడైనా సంఘర్షణలు లేదా కలహాలు లేదా పొట్లాటలు జరిగినప్పుడు మనము కాస్త ఆగి అవతలి వ్యక్తి మనకు హాని చేస్తున్నాడని కాక దుష్టుడు వారి చేత అలా చేయిస్తున్నాడు అని ఆలోచించాలి. ఈ విషయమై అపొస్తలుడైన పౌలు ఎఫెసీయులకు 6: 12*లో తెలియ జెప్పి ఉన్నారు ఏలయనగా మనము పోరాడునది శరీరులతో (మూలభాషలో-రక్తమాంసములతో) కాదు, గాని ప్రధానులతోను, అధికారులతోను, ప్రస్తుత అంధకార సంబంధులగు లోక నాథులతోను, ఆకాశమండలమందున్న దురాత్మల సమూహములతోను పోరాడుచున్నాము అని. అందుకనే దేవుని బిడ్డలకు మన ఎదురుగా కనిపించేదానికన్నా అసలు విషయం ఏమి జరుగుతుందో అర్థం చేసుకోవడం ముఖ్యం.

ఇతరులతో కలహం మాత్రమే కాదు, మన జీవితంలో కూడా ఇంత ప్రయత్నించినా కొన్ని విషయాల్లో ఓటమినే చవి చూస్తున్నట్లయితే ప్రియమైన దేవుని బిడ్డా నీవు నీ శరీర శక్తితో పోరాడటం ఆపివేసి దుర్గములను పడద్రోయజాలినంత బలముకలవైయున్న దేవుని యుద్ధోపకరణములు వాడుట మొదలు పెట్టాలి. దేవుడు మనకు అలా చేయడానికి ఏర్పాటు చేసి యున్నారు. ఎఫెసీయులకు 6: 11-18 లో అపొస్తలుడైన పౌలు మనము సర్వాంగ కవచమును ధరించుకొనవలెనని చెప్పి యున్నారు. మన ఆలోచనలను కాచు కొనుటకు రక్షణ అను శిరస్త్రాణమును, మన భావోద్వేగాలను కాచు కొనుటకు నీతియను మైమరువును, మన ఎదురుగా కనిపించేది కాక అసలు విషయం తెలుసు కోవడానికి మన నడుముకు సత్యము అనే దట్టీని, పాదములకు సమాధాన సువార్త వలననైన సిద్ధమనస్సను జోడు తొడుగుకొన వలెను. అలానే దుష్టుని అగ్ని బాణ ములను ఆర్పుటకు విశ్వాసము అను డాలు, దేవుని వాక్యము అను ఆత్మ ఖడ్గము మన రక్షణ కొరకు మరియు పోరాడట కొరకు ధరించ వలెను. ప్రతి ఉదయం మన పడకల మీద నుండి లేవక ముందే ఈ సర్వాంగ కవచమును ధరించండి మరియు దేవునికి లోబడియుండుడి, అపవాదిని (సాతాను) ఎదిరించుడి, అప్పుడు వాడు మీయొద్దనుండి పారిపోవును.యాకోబు 4: 7. ఇక నా జీవితం సాఫీగానే సాగి పోతుంది అనుకునే వారు  నిబ్బరమైన బుద్ధి గలవారై మెలకువగా ఉండుడి; మీ విరోధియైన అపవాది (సాతాను) గర్జించు సింహమువలె ఎవరిని మింగుదునా అని వెదకుచు తిరుగుచున్నాడు.1పేతురు 5: 8.

అదే సమయంలో ఒకటి గుర్తుంచు కోండి, సైతాను ఓడి పోయిన శత్రువు, తన సమయం చాలా తక్కువని అతడికి తెలుసు అందుకనే సాధ్యమైనంత మందిని తనతో కూడా నరకాగ్ని లోనికి తీసుకొని వెళ్ళడానికి ప్రయత్నము చేస్తున్నాడు. అందుకని దేవుని బిడ్డల మైన మనము సర్వాంగ కవచాన్ని ధరించి, మన కొరకు మరియు మన ఇంటి వారి కొరకు మాత్రమే కాక, నాశనము వైపు పరిగెత్తుతున్న వారందరు కూడా మహోన్నతుడైన ఆ ప్రభువు కాపుదల క్రిందకు రావాలని ప్రార్థన చెయ్యాలి.

తీర్పు తీర్చబడదు

యోహాను 3: 18 ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచువానికి తీర్పు తీర్చబడదు; విశ్వసింపనివాడు దేవుని అద్వితీయకుమారుని నామమందు విశ్వాసముంచలేదు గనుక వానికి ఇంతకు మునుపే తీర్పుతీర్చబడెను.

చాలా మంది అంటారు అంత ప్రేమామయుడైన దేవుడు మనుషులను నరకానికి పంపించడం అన్యాయం కదా అని. కాని అది నిజమేనా? మనుషులను నరకానికి పంపించేది దేవుడేనా? దీనికీ జవాబు చెప్పడానికి ఈ రోజు వాక్యన్ని చూద్దాం, వాక్య భాగము స్పష్టముగా చెబుతున్నది దేవుని యందు విశ్వసింపని వాడు ఇంతకు ముందే తీర్పు తీర్చబడెను అని. కాబట్టి మనుషులను నరకానికి పంపేది దేవుడు కాదు మనుషులే ఆ నిర్ణయాన్ని తీసుకుంటున్నారు. ఇంకా చెప్పాలంటే దేవుడు ప్రేమ కలిగిన వాడు కనుక మనుషులు నశించి పోక నిత్య జీవము పొందాలని తన అద్వితీయ కుమారునిని ఈ లోకములోనికి పంపించారు (వ16). కాబట్టి నీవు కనుక క్రీస్తు యందు విశ్వాసము ఉంచితే ఆయనతో కూడ స్వర్గములో నివాసము చేసేదవు లేదంటే ఆయనను విశ్వసింపక  పోయినట్లయితే పురుగు చావని, అగ్ని ఆరని నరకానికి (మార్కు 9:48) వెళ్లేదవు. నిర్ణయం నీదే.

ఇంకా మనుషులు క్రీస్తును విశ్వసింపనిది ఆయన దేవుడని నమ్మక కాదు కాని వారు కనుక వెలుగు లోనికి వస్తే తమ చెడు కార్యములు బయట పడతాయేమో నని  మరియు వారి దుష్ట కార్యములను విడిచి పెట్టాల్సి వస్తుందేమోనని భయము (వ 19-20). ప్రియ చదువరీ, మీరే ఆలోచించండి దుష్ట మైన సుఖ సంతోషాలు ఈ భూమి మీద అనుభవించి నరకానికి వెళ్లడము మంచిదా లేదంటే కష్టాలు శ్రమలు అనుభవించాల్సి వచ్చినా కూడా క్రీస్తును నమ్ముకొని ఆయన కొరకు జీవించి నిత్య జీవములో ఆయనతో కూడ జీవించుట మంచిదా. నిర్ణయం మీదే.

చివరగా, నీవు నమ్మినా నమ్మక పోయినా నిజము నిజమే అది ఏమిటంటే యేసు క్రీస్తు దేవుడు మరియు నిత్య జీవానికి మార్గము ఆయనే. ఆయన పాపులమైన మన కొరకు చనిపోవుటకై ఈ లోకమునకు వచ్చి యున్నారు మరియు ఒక దినమున తన యందు విశ్వాసముంచిన బిడ్డలతో కలిసి ఈ లోకమును పరిపాలించ డానికి తిరిగి రానై యున్నారు. ఆయన తిరిగి వచ్చిన రోజు ప్రతి మోకాలు వంగును మరియు ప్రతి నాలుక ఆయనే ప్రభువుని ఒప్పుకొనును. నీవు క్రీస్తుతో కూడ ఈ లోకమును పరిపాలించే గుంపులో ఉండాలనుకుంటున్నవా లేదంటే మహా శ్రమలు అనుభవించే గుంపులో ఉండాలని అనుకుంటున్నవా. నిర్ణయం నీదే

ఈ రోజే తెలివైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటారని నా ప్రార్థన మరియు నా ఆశ.

All came to pass

Joshua 21:45 Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.

Not partially or not a part of or not some parts of the promises or one of the promises but every word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel came to pass. Wow...It is such a powerful claim by the author of the book of Joshua. But if we read through the earlier chapters of this book of Joshua, we can understand very clearly that it is not just an empty claim. The victories won by the people of Israel under the leadership of Joshua and the division of inheritance of the possessed land between all the tribes of Israel and the rest God gave them on every side affirm the promises of God fulfilled in their midst. 

When the going gets tough and the delay seems to be long (as per worldly terms) this promise encourages us that not a single word of the Lord fails to come to pass. It doesn't matter how long the road is or how short the path is, how difficult the bend is or how easy the slope is, if it is the Lord who's guiding you then be assured of this, He will lead you to rest, Because he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23b

Everything for His glory

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

It is so easy to get lost in wilderness, without a compass and a good sense of direction we may even end up going in circles and have a very hard time coming out of it. There are even some reality shows telecasted on TV wherein a person or few people left in wilderness has to find their way back to civilization and whoever reaches first were given some kind of reward. 

Coming to the context of today's verse, God spoke to the people of Israel through His prophet Isaiah concerning a future prophecy of their rebellion against Him, captivity and exile to Babylon and deliverance from captivity. In this verse particularly God affirmed the Israelites that when leading them back to Canaan from Babylon He will create a road through the wilderness and create springs in the desert to provide them with water. If we see the geography, between Babylon and Canaan there are hundreds of miles of wilderness. I am amazed at how specific God is, He just did not promise them of their return but He also told them that He will take care of their safe passage through the wilderness by making roads, providing springs of water and even keep them safe from wild beasts ( v 20). All this He will do so that the people may declare His praises.

Everything God does, it is for His ultimate glory. Even in our lives God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Especially for those of us who are waiting for guidance God speaks through this verse that He not only will lead us but He is also able to make a way which does not exist before. And He is able to take care of us , He will not allow any harm to come near us and not just that He will also provide for us all through the journey. It doesn't matter how we were or what we were in the past, if we now humble ourselves before God and turn away from our wicked ways God will do miracles in our life. And through it all His name shall be glorified.

Longing His presence

Psalms 27:4 One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.

It is no wonder that this psalm is written by David, a man after Gods own heart (1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22). King David was not a perfect man, he also had his own share of weaknesses and flaws but, his hearts desire was always to know God and to do His will. Thats why God himself testified that he is a man after His own heart. Today's verse depicts Davids heartfelt desire to dwell in God's presence and to behold the beauty of the Lord. Imagine a person in love, he or she will be full of thoughts of the other person and there will be longing in their heart to be with him or her all the time. Here David is longing for God in similar way. As per old testament days only the priests can dwell inside the temple, so it may be David was longing to trade his role as king to priest to just be inside the temple before the Lord. Or he might have wanted to just sit on the floor before the Lord 2 Samuel 7:18 and praise Him with a song.2 Samuel 22 He was yearning and longing to be with the Lord and experience His presence.

As NT believers we are called the royal priesthood, the elect of the Lord (1 Peter 2:9) and we are given the privilege  to enter Gods presence any time and anywhere (Hebrews 4:16, 10:19-20) So with this liberty and privilege it is much easier for us to draw near to the throne of grace. But honestly how many of us would like to go to God just to be in God's presence and behold His beauty? With our lips we may say we long for Him and yearn for His presence but do we really desire it with all our hearts? 

And  its one thing to go to God in prayer with our requests,petitions and intercessions and it's totally a different thing to just sit in His presence and wait in silence before Him. If you have not tried it till now, I encourage you to try it today. For there is fullness of joy in His presence and at His right hand are pleasures evermore (Psalm 16:11) which no world can give and which no money can buy.

Pure heart

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

It is interesting to see that Gods word doesn't say blessed are the perfect for they shall see God. Instead it says blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Purity of heart for a child of God is not optional but is a necessary thing. You can't expect to see God or hear from God while leading an impure life. The Old Testament law given to the Israelites through Moses expressed the holiness of God and how difficult it is to approach such a holy God. It required certain purification processes for certain things. Even to enter into the sanctuary the people had to purify themselves. Some people think that because Jesus has come we don't have to bother about the law, no dear ones Jesus himself told he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it Matthew 5:17. The OT law required external purification but the new covenant of Jesus mandated purity of heart. David also mentioned this in one of his psalms Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.Psalms 24:3-4

Unfortunately some of us learn it the hard way that without purity of heart, purity of thoughts and purity of words what ever we do is never pleasing to God. How ever big our ministry may be and however wonderful you may appear to people on the outside without purity of heart everything we do is wood, hay and sticks and they are only going to burn and turn into dust.

How are we made pure? Because of Jesus' death on the cross as a substitution for us we are redeemed from our sins and are cleansed from our iniquities. So the moment we repent of our sins and accept the redemption work of Jesus and invite Him into our hearts to be our Lord and Savior we are made pure in the eyes of the Lord Almighty. But after that maintaining/protecting that purity in our lives is a daily process.And how do we maintain it? As the psalmist says How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word Psalms 119:9 We need to fill out hearts with the word of God. As we do that during the time of temptations and during our times of need the Holy Spirit will remind us of the required scriptures that will help us overcome. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.Psalms 119:11

At the same time we should aim for purity in speech, purity in thoughts and purity of eyes then we can have a pure heart. So what we fill our hearts with and what we think upon becomes very important. We should be careful with what we watch on tv or internet and watchful about the thoughts that we allow our mind to ponder on. We need to think upon things that are true, honorable, pure, just, lovely, commendable, excellent and worthy of praise Philippians 4:8. As we faithfully continue to do these things the Lord will give us His grace to be pure and blameless for the day of Christ Philippians 1:10

Like a tree that yields it's fruit

Psalms 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Some of the promises of God comes with a condition and today's verse is one of them. A person is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither if he does some things and does not do some things. If you can recall we meditated on a similar verse in Jeremiah 17:7-8 "But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." a few months ago. According to this verse a person will be like a fruitful tree if he trusts in the Lord and if his confidence is in Him. And as per today's verse a person can also be like a fruitful tree if he
1. walks not in the counsel of the wicked
2. stands not in the way of sinners
3. sits not in the seat of the scoffers
4. delights in the law of God and
5. meditates on the law day and night.
The first set of don'ts are part of verse 1 and second set of do's are part of verse 2 of Psalm 1. Let us look at these don'ts and do's in detail.

1. Walks not in the counsel of the wicked:
As per the word of God, the counsels of the wicked are deceitful Proverbs 12:5b. The wicked are full of evil, mischief and lies Psalm 7:14, does not seek God and does not fear Him. Psalm 10:4,36:1, plots trouble Psalm 36:4, borrows but does not pay back Psalm 37:21. The thoughts, ways and sacrifices of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord Proverbs 15:8,9,26. So if a person wishes to live a fruitful life he should not walk in the deceitful ways of the wicked but should forsake evil & mischief and seek God & fear Him.

2. Stands not in the way of sinners:
I heard the following definition of sin from a man of God, Sin is trying to satisfy God given desires by using God given talents& gifts at the wrong time in a wrong way. Sin is disobedience to God and His word. The way of sinners leads only to destruction and death. So if a person wishes to live a fruitful life he should walk in the ways of the Lord and forsake sinful ways.

3. Sits not in the seat of scoffers:
Scoff means to mock and according to scriptures Scoffer is the name of the arrogant, haughty man who acts with arrogant pride.Proverbs 21:24 So if a person wishes to live a fruitful life he should not judge, be little or mock others and act arrogant but should encourage and uplift others.

4. Delights in the law of God:
Law of God is nothing but the word of God. Delight is joy or a high degree of pleasure or enjoyment. Delighting in the law of God means enjoying ourselves and finding our utmost joy in the word of God. When we love someone we want to know more about them and spend time with them. Similarly if we love God we desire to know more about Him and spend time with Him. And the best way to know God is by reading His word. Actually it goes as a cycle, the more we love God the more we will spend time reading His word and the more we read His word the more we will love Him. So if a person wishes to live a fruitful life he should find delight in the word of God.

5. Meditates on the law day and night:
Meditation of God's word means to read, re read the scripture and ponder on it till it becomes so real to us and its truth sinks into our heart. God's word becomes bread and life to a person when he meditates on it. So if a person wishes to live a fruitful life he should read and meditate upon God's word.

Concisely, a person who is fruitful like a tree planted by the streams of water, delights himself in the Lord and forsakes the ways of the world.

Many of us believers are leading a fruitless life even after knowing the Lord for many years. It is because we might be missing out one or some of these don'ts and do's. Today let us compare our lives with Psalm 1:1-3 and ask the Lord to show us where we fall behind and grant us the grace to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10

అంతయు నెరవేరెను

యెహోషువ 21: 45 యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలన్నిటిలో ఏదియు తప్పియుండలేదు, అంతయు నెరవేరెను.

కొంచెము కాదు లేకుంటే ఒక వంతు కాదు లేకుంటే వాగ్ధానాలలో కొంత భాగము కాదు లేదంటే వాగ్ధానాలలో కొన్ని కాదు దేవుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలన్నియు నెరవేరెను. ఆహా....ఇది యెహోషువ గ్రంథ కర్త యొక్క ఎంత గొప్ప వాదన. అయితే మనము కనుక ఇదే గ్రంథములో ముందరి అధ్యాయాలు చదివినట్లయితే ఇది ఒట్టి వాదన కాదు నిజము అని గమనించ గలము. యెహోషువ యొక్క నాయకత్వములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు గెలిచిన యుద్ధములు మరియు వారి మధ్య వాగ్ధాన భూమిని స్వాస్థ్యముగా విభజించు కొనుట మరియు అన్ని దిక్కుల యందు దేవుడు వారికి ఇచ్చిన విశ్రాంతి ఈ విషయాన్ని ధృవీకరిస్తాయి.

అందుకే దారి కష్టముగా ఉండి, ఆలస్యము చాలా అవుతుంది అనిపిసిస్తుంటే ఈ వాక్యము మనలను ఎంత గానో ఆదరిస్తుంది, దేవుడు సెలవిచ్చిన ఒక్క మాట కూడా నెరవేర్చ బడకుండా ఉండదు అని.  మనము ప్రయాణించే మార్గము ఎంత పొడుగాటి దయినా కావచ్చు లేదా దారి ఎంత చిన్న దయినా కావచ్చు, మలుపు ఎంత కష్ట మైన దయినా కావచ్చు లేదా వాలు (slope) ఎంత సులువైన దయినా కావచ్చు కాని ఒకవేళ దానిలో మనలను నడిపించేది కనుక మన ప్రభువు అయినట్లయితే ఆయన మనలను తప్పక విశ్రాంతి లోనికి నడిపిస్తారని మనము నిమ్మళము కలిగి ఉండవచ్చు ఎందుకంటే వాగ్దానము చేసినవాడు నమ్మదగిన వాడు - హెబ్రీయులకు 10:23a

 సమస్తము ఆయన మహిమార్థమే

యెషయా 43: 19 ఇదిగో నేనొక నూతనక్రియ చేయుచున్నాను ఇప్పుడే అది మొలుచును మీరు దాని నాలోచింపరా? నేను అరణ్యములో త్రోవ కలుగజేయుచున్నాను ఎడారిలో నదులు పారజేయుచున్నాను.

అరణ్యములో తప్పిపోవడం చాలా సులువు, మంచి compass మరియు దిక్కుల గురించి మంచి అవగాహన లేక పోతే మనము వెళ్లిన మార్గంలోనే మళ్లీ మళ్లీ వెళ్తూ బయటకి రావడానికి చాలా కష్ట పడవలసి కూడా వస్తుంది. అరణ్యములో దారి వెదుకుట చాలా కష్టము కాబట్టే టీవీ లో కొన్ని reality shows కూడా వచ్చాయి ఈ విషయం మీద , ఒక వ్యక్తిని లేదా కొందరి వ్యక్తులను అరణ్యములో వదిలి పెడితే వారు తిరిగి నాగరికతకు చేరుకోవాలి మరియు అలా చేరుకున్న వారికి ఒక మంచి బహుమతి కూడా ఉంటుంది. 

ఈ రోజు వాక్య భాగము యొక్క సందర్భానికి వస్తే, దేవుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలతో తన ప్రవక్త అయిన యెషయా ద్వారా వారి భవిష్యత్తు ప్రవచనమును గురించి మాట్లాడుచున్నారు, వారు దేవుని పై తిరుగుబాటు చేయుట, బబులోను దేశమునకు బానిసలుగా తీసుకొని వెళ్లుట మరియు బానిసత్వము నుండి విడుదల పొంది కనాను దేశమునకు తిరిగి వెళ్లుట, వీటిని గురించి. ముఖ్యంగా ఈ వచనములో  వారు బబులోను నుండి కనాను దేశమునకు తిరిగి వెళ్ళేప్పుడు అరణ్యములో మార్గమును కలుగ జేస్తానని మరియు ఎడారిలో సెలయేళ్లను పారజేసి వారికి మంచి నీటిని ఇస్తానని చెబుతున్నారు. భూగోళ శాస్త్రమును పరిశీలిస్తే బబులోను మరియు కనాను దేశముల మధ్య ఎన్నో మైళ్ళ వరకు అరణ్య ప్రాంతము ఉన్నది. నేనయితే దేవుని యొక్క నిర్దిష్టత చూచి ఆశ్చర్య పడ్డాను, ఆయన వారితో వారి తిరుగు ప్రయాణము గురించి  వాగ్ధానం చేసి వదిపెట్ట లేదు కాని వారిని  క్షేమముగా గమ్యము చేర్చుటకు అరణ్యములో మార్గము కలుగ జేస్తానని, ఎడారిలో సెలయేళ్లను కలుగ జేస్తానని, ఇంకా అడవి జంతువులు హాని చేయకుండా కాపాడుతానని (వ 20) కూడా చెప్పారు. ఆయన ఇవన్నీ తన ప్రజలు ఆయన స్తోత్రము ప్రచురము చేయుటకు చేయుచున్నారు.

దేవుడు చేయు సమస్తమును ఆయన మహిమార్థమే చేయును. మన జీవితంలో కూడా దేవుడు ఏ మార్గము లేని చోట మార్గము తయారు చేయగలరు. ముఖ్యంగా ఆయన మార్గము కొరకు ఎదురు చూస్తున్న మనతో దేవుడు ఈ వాక్యము ద్వారా స్పష్టముగా మాట్లాడుచున్నారు, ఆయన మనలను నడిపించుట మాత్రమే కాదు మన కొరకు కొత్త మార్గము కూడా చేయగలరు అని. మనకు ఏ హాని రాకుండా చూడగలరు మరియు మార్గములో కావలసిన సమస్తమును కూడా సమకూర్చ గలరు. ఇంతకు ముందు మనము ఎలాంటి వారిమైనా, ఏమి చేసినా ఇప్పుడు మనము కనుక మనలను మనము తగ్గించు కొని మన చెడు కార్యములు వదిలి పెట్టి నట్లయితే అప్పుడు దేవుడు మన జీవితంలో కూడా అద్భుత కార్యాలు చేస్తారు. మరియు దానంతటిలో దేవుని నామము మహిమ పరచ బడుతుంది.

దేవుని సన్నిధి కొరకు ఆశ

కీర్తనలు 27: 4 యెహోవాయొద్ద ఒక్క వరము అడిగితిని దానిని నేను వెదకుచున్నాను. యెహోవా ప్రసన్నతను చూచుటకును ఆయన ఆలయములో ధ్యానించుటకును నా జీవితకాలమంతయు నేను యెహోవా మందిర ములో నివసింప గోరుచున్నాను.

ఈ కీర్తనను ప్రభువుకు ఇష్టాను సారుడైన (1 సమూయేలు 13:14,అపోస్తుల కార్యములు 13:22) దావీదు మహారాజు వ్రాసాడు అనడంలో ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు. దావీదు పరిపూర్ణమైన వాడేమీ కాదు, తనకు కూడా కొన్ని బలహీనతలు మరియు లోపాలు ఉన్నాయి, కాని అతని హృదయ వాంఛ మాత్రము ఎప్పుడూ దేవునిని గురించి తెలుసుకోవాలి మరియు ఆయన చిత్తాన్ని చెయ్యాలి అని ఉండేది. అందుకనే దేవుడు స్వయంగా ఆయనను తన చిత్తనుసారమైన మనస్సుగలవాడు అని సాక్ష్యమిచ్చారు. తాను దేవుని యొక్క సన్నిధిలో ఉండాలని మరియు ఆయన ప్రసన్నతను చూడాలన్న దావీదు యొక్క మనస్పూరిత కోరికను ఈ రోజు వాక్యభాగము చక్కగా వర్ణిస్తుంది. ప్రేమలో ఉన్న ఒక వ్యక్తిని ఊహించుకోండి, అతను లేక ఆమె ఎప్పుడు తాము ప్రేమించుచున్న వ్యక్తి యొక్క ఆలోచనలలో మునిగి ఉంటారు మరియు వారితో ఉండాలని ఆశ పడతారు. దేవుని పట్ల దావీదు కలిగి యున్న  ప్రేమ కూడా అటువంటిదే. పాత నిబంధన కాలములో యాజకులు మాత్రమే దేవుని ఆలయములో ఉండగలరు మరి దావీదు ఒక వేళ దేవుని సన్నిధిలో ఉండటానికి తన రాజకత్వాన్ని యాజకత్వంగా మార్చుకోవాలని ఆశ పడ్డారేమో. లేదంటే ఆయన దేవుని ఎదుట నేల మీద కూర్చుని ఉండాలని (2 సమూయేలు 7:18) మరియు ఆయనను పాటతో స్తుతించాలని (2 సమూయేలు 22) ఆశ పడ్డారేమో. ఏది ఎలా అయినా ఆయన మనస్సు మాత్రము దేవుని దగ్గరకు వెళ్లాలని మరియు ఆయన సన్నిధిని అనుభవించాలని తహ తహ లాడేది.

కొత్త నిబంధన విశ్వాసులమైన మనము రాజులైన యాజకసమూహము, ఏర్పరచుకున్న జనాంగము అని పిలువ బడుచున్నాము (1 పేతురు 2:9) మరియు మనకు ఎప్పుడైనా ఎక్కడైనా సరే దేవుని సన్నిధి లోనికి ప్రవేశించడానికి అధికారము ఇవ్వబడినది (హెబ్రీయులకు 4:16,10:19-20). మరి ఇంతటి స్వేచ్ఛతో మరియు అధికారముతో దేవుని కృపా సింహాసనమును సమీపించుట మనకు ఎంతో సులభము. అయితే నిజముగా మనలో ఎంత మందిమి దేవుని దగ్గరకు కేవలము ఆయన సన్నిధిలో ఉండడానికి మరియు ఆయన ప్రసన్నతను చూడటానికి వెళ్ళాలని ఇష్ట పడతాము? మన పెదవులతో మాత్రము దేవుని దగ్గరకు వెళ్లాలని ఆశ ఉన్నది మరియు ఆయన సన్నిధిలో ఉండాలని కోరుచున్నాము అని చెప్ప వచ్చు కాని నిజముగా మన హృదయమంతటితో అలా ఆశ పడుచున్నామా? 

అలానే ప్రార్థనలో దేవుని వద్దకు మన అభ్యర్థనలను, మనవులను, విజ్ఞాపనలను తీసుకొని వెళ్లడం ఒక ఎత్తు మరియు ఆయన సన్నిధిలో ఊరకనే కూర్చుని నిశబ్దముగా కనిపెట్టడం ఇంకొక ఎత్తు. మరి ఒక వేళ ఇప్పటి వరకు మీరు అలా చేసి ఉండకపోతే ఈ రోజే తప్పక ప్రయత్నించి చూడండి. ఎందుకంటే ఆయన సన్నిధిలో సంపూర్ణ సంతోషము కలదు మరియు ఆయన కుడి చేతిలో నిత్యము సుఖములు కలవు (కీర్తనలు 16:11) ఇవి ఏ లోకము ఇవ్వలేదు మరియు ఏ డబ్బు కొనలేదు.

హృదయశుద్ధి

మత్తయి 5: 8 హృదయశుద్ధిగలవారు ధన్యులు; వారు దేవుని చూచెదరు.

ఆసక్తికరముగా దేవుని వాక్యము పరిపూర్ణ మైన వారు దేవుని చూచెదరు అని చెప్పడం లేదు కాని దానికి బదులు హృదయశుద్ధిగలవారు ధన్యులు; వారు దేవుని చూచెదరు అని చెబుతున్నది. అందువలననే హృదయశుద్ధి అనేది దేవుని బిడ్డలకు ఐచ్ఛికమైనది కాదు (optional) ఖచ్చితంగా కావలసిన విషయము. ఒక వైపు అపవిత్రమైన జీవితం జీవిస్తూ ఇంకొక వైపు దేవునిని చూడటం మరియు ఆయన స్వరం వినడం అనేది అసాధ్యం. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు ఇవ్వబడిన పాత నిబంధన లోని కట్టడలు దేవుడు ఎంత పరిశుద్ధుడో మరియు ఆయనను సమీపించడం ఎంత కష్టమైన పనో తెలియజెప్పాయి. అప్పట్లో కొన్ని కొన్ని విషయాలకు కొన్ని కొన్ని శుద్ధీకరణ పద్ధతులు కావాల్సి ఉండేవి. ప్రత్యక్ష గుడారములోనికి ప్రవేశించడానికి కూడా శుద్ధి చేసుకోవాల్సి వచ్చేది.  అయితే కొంతమంది ఏమనుకుంటారంటే ఇప్పుడు యేసు క్రీస్తు వచ్చేసారు కనుక మనము ఆజ్ఞలను కట్టడలను పెద్దగా పట్టించుకొనవసరం లేదు అని , లేదు ప్రియమైన వారలారా యేసు క్రీస్తు స్వయంగా తానే చెప్పారు ధర్మశాస్త్రమునైనను ప్రవక్తల వచనములనైనను కొట్టి వేయవచ్చితినని తలంచవద్దు; నెరవేర్చుటకే గాని కొట్టివేయుటకు నేను రాలేదు. మత్తయి 5: 17 అని. పాత నిబంధన కట్టడలు పాటించడానికి బాహ్య పరిశుద్ధత కావాల్సి వచ్చింది కాని క్రీస్తు యొక్క నూతన నిబంధన హృదయ శుద్ధిని ఖచ్చితం చేసింది. దావీదు మహారాజు కూడా ఈ విషయాన్నే తన కీర్తనలలో  కూడా తెలియ జేశారు. యెహోవా పర్వతమునకు ఎక్కదగినవాడెవడు? ఆయన పరిశుద్ధ స్థలములో నిలువదగిన వాడెవడు? వ్యర్థమైనదానియందు మనస్సు పెట్టకయు కపటముగా ప్రమాణము చేయకయు నిర్దోషమైన చేతులును శుద్ధమైన హృదయమును కలిగి యుండువాడే. కీర్తనలు 24: 3-4

దురదృష్టవశాత్తు మనలో కొంతమందిమి హృదయశుద్ధి, మాటలలో పవిత్రత, ఆలోచనలలో పవిత్రత లేకుండా మనము ఏమి చేసినా కూడా అది దేవుని దృష్టికి ఇష్టముగా ఉండవని కఠిన మార్గంలో నేర్చుకుంటున్నాము. మన సేవ ఎంత పెద్దదయినా, మనము బయటకి ఎంత అద్భుతంగా కనిపించినా మన హృదయంలో పవిత్రత లేక పోతే మనము చేసే ప్రతి పని  కఱ్ఱ, గడ్డి మరియు కొయ్యకాలే మరియు ఒక రోజు అవి అగ్నికి కాలి బూడిద కావాల్సిందే. 

మరి పవిత్రులుగా ఎలా చేయబడతాము? మనకు మారుగా  క్రీస్తు సిలువ పైన మరణించడం వలన  మనకు పాప విమోచన కలిగింది మరియు మన అపరాధముల నుండి శుద్ధి చేయబడ్డాము. అందువలన ఎప్పుడయితే మనము మన పాపముల నిమిత్తము పశ్చాత్తాప పడి, క్రీస్తు యొక్క విమోచనను అంగీకరించి, ఆయనను మన హృదయములోనికి మన రక్షకునిగా అధిపతిగా అంగీకరించామో ఆ క్షణమే మనము పవిత్రులుగా చేయబడినాము. అయితే దానిని అనగా ఆ పవిత్రతను కొనసాగించడం అనేది ప్రతి రోజు చేయ వలసిన కార్యము. మరి ఎలా కొనసాగించగలము? కీర్తనా కారుడు చెప్పినట్లు యౌవనస్థులు దేనిచేత తమ నడత శుద్ధిపరచు కొందురు? నీ వాక్యమును బట్టి దానిని జాగ్రత్తగా చూచుకొనుట చేతనే గదా? కీర్తనలు 119:9 మనము మన హృదయాలను దేవుని వాక్యముతో నింపుకోవాలి. అలా చేసినప్పుడు మన శోధనలలో, మన అవసరతలలో పరిశుద్ధాత్మ దేవుడు తగిన వాక్యములను గుర్తు చేసి మనలను అధిగమించే వారిగా చేస్తారు. నీ యెదుట నేను పాపము చేయకుండునట్లు నా హృదయములో నీ వాక్యము ఉంచుకొని యున్నాను.కీర్తనలు 119: 11

అలానే మనము మన మాటలలో పవిత్రత, ఆలోచనలలో పవిత్రత మరియు మన చూపులో పవిత్రత కలిగి ఉండుట లక్ష్యము చేసుకుంటే అప్పుడు మన హృదయము పవిత్రముగా ఉంటుంది. అందుకే మనము ఏది ఆలోచిస్తున్నాము మరియు మన హృదయాలను దేనితో నింపుకుంటున్నాము అనేది చాలా ముఖ్యము. టీవీ లో మరియు ఇంటర్నెట్ లో చూసే వాటి గురించి మనము జాగ్రత్త వహించాలి మరియు మనము మన మనస్సులోనికి ఏ ఆలోచనలను రానిస్తున్నాము అనే దాని పట్ల శ్రద్ధ వహించాలి. మనము సత్యమైన, మాన్యమైన, న్యాయమైన, పవిత్రమైన, రమ్యమైన, ఖ్యాతిగల, యోగ్యమైన మరియు మొప్పయిన వాటి మీద ధ్యాన ముంచుకోవాలి ఫిలిప్పీయులకు 4: 8. ఈ విషయాలను మనము నమ్మకముగా పాటిస్తూ ఉన్నట్లయితే  అప్పుడు దేవుడు మనకు తన కృపను అనుగ్రహించి క్రీస్తు దినమునకు పవిత్రులుగా మరియు నిర్దోషులుగా ఉంచును ఫిలిప్పీయులకు 1: 11

కీర్తనలు 1: 3 అతడు నీటికాలువల యోరను నాటబడినదై ఆకు వాడక తన కాలమందు ఫలమిచ్చు చెట్టువలె నుండును అతడు చేయునదంతయు సఫలమగును.

3. అపహాసకులు కూర్చుండు చోటను కూర్చుండక

4. యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రమునందు ఆనందించుచు

5. దివారాత్రము దానిని ధ్యానించుచు ఉండును.

మొదటి మూడు చేయకూడని పనులు వచనము 1 మరియు చివరి రెండు చెయ్యవలసిన పనులు వచనము 2 లో వ్రాయ బడినవి కీర్తన 1 లో. వీటిని గురించి వివరంగా తెలుసుకుందాం.

1.దుష్టుల ఆలోచన చొప్పున నడువక ఉండును

దేవుని వాక్యము ప్రకారము భక్తిహీనులు (దుష్టులు) చెప్పు ఆలోచనలు మోసకరములు. సామెతలు 12: 5b. దుష్టులు పాపముతో, చేటుతో మరియు అబద్ధముతో నిండి ఉంటారు కీర్తనలు 7:14, దేవునిని వెదుకరు మరియు దేవుని భయము వారిలో లేదు కీర్తనలు 10:4,36:1 పాపయోచనను యోచించును కీర్తనలు 36:4, అప్పు చేసి తీర్చకయుందురు కీర్తనలు 37:21. భక్తిహీనులు అర్పించు బలులు, వారి మార్గములు మరియు వారి ఆలోచనలు దేవునికి హేయములు సామెతలు 15:8-9,26. కాబట్టి ఒక వ్యక్తి ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం జీవించాలి అని కోరినట్లయితే అతడు దుష్టుల మోసకరమైన ఆలోచనల చొప్పున నడువక, పాపమును మరియు చెడు తనమును విసర్జించి, దేవునిని వెదుకుతూ ఆయన యందు భయభక్తులు కలిగి ఉండ వలెను.

2.పాపుల మార్గమున నిలువక ఉండును

నేను ఒక దేవుని సేవకుని దగ్గర పాపము యొక్క నిర్వచనాన్ని ఈ విధంగా విన్నాను. పాపము అనగా దేవుడు ఇచ్చిన వాంఛలను దేవుడు ఇచ్చిన తలాంతులు మరియు వరములను ఉపయోగించి తప్పైన పద్దతిలో మరియు తప్పైన సమయంలో తీర్చు కొనుట. పాపము అనగా దేవునికి మరియు ఆయన వాక్యమునకు వ్యతిరేకముగా ఆవిధేయత చూపించుట. పాపము యొక్క మార్గము చివరకు నాశనము మరియు మరణానికే దారి తీస్తుంది. కాబట్టి ఒక వ్యక్తి ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం జీవించాలి అని కోరినట్లయితే అతడు పాపుల మార్గాన్ని విసర్జించి దేవుని మార్గములో నడువ వలెను.

3. అపహాసకులు కూర్చుండు చోటను కూర్చుండక ఉండును

అపహాస్యం అంటే గేలి చేయడం మరియు వాక్యము ప్రకారము అహంకారియైన గర్విష్ఠునికి అపహాసకుడని పేరు అట్టివాడు అమితగర్వముతో ప్రవర్తించును.సామెతలు 21: 24. కాబట్టి ఒక వ్యక్తి ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం జీవించాలి అని కోరినట్లయితే అతడు ఇతరులను తీర్పు తీర్చక, గేలి చేయక మరియు చిన్నబుచ్చక వారిని ప్రోత్సహించాలి మరియు పైకి లెవనెత్తాలి.

4. యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రమునందు ఆనందించుచు ఉండును

ధర్మశాస్త్రము అనగా దేవుని వాక్యము. ధర్మశాస్త్రమునందు ఆనందించుట అనగా మనము దేవుని వాక్యము చదువుటలో అత్యంత ఆనందాన్ని పొందుట. మనము ఎవరినైనా ప్రేమిస్తే వారి గురించి తెలుసు కోవాలి, వారితో సమయాన్ని గడపాలి అని కోరుకుంటాం. ఆ విధంగానే మనము దేవునిని కనుక ప్రేమిస్తే ఆయనతో సమయం గడపాలి, ఆయనను గురించి తెలుసు కోవాలి అని కోరుకుంటాం. మరియు దేవుని గురించి తెలుసు కోవడానికి ఆయన వాక్యము చదవడం అనేది శ్రేష్ఠమైన పద్ధతి. అసలు మనం దీనిని చూస్తే ఇది ఒక చక్రం లాగ ఉంటుంది, మనము దేవునిని ఎంత ఎక్కువ ప్రేమిస్తే అంత ఎక్కువగా వాక్యము చదవాలి అనుకుంటాము, మరియు దేవుని వాక్యము ఎంత ఎక్కువగా చదివితే దేవునిని అంత ఎక్కువగా ప్రేమించ గలుగుతాము. కాబట్టి ఒక వ్యక్తి ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం జీవించాలి అని కోరినట్లయితే అతడు దేవుని వాక్యమందు ఆనందించాలి.

5. దివారాత్రము దానిని ధ్యానించుచు ఉండును

దేవుని వాక్యమును ధ్యానించుట అంటే ఒక వాక్యము భాగమును మరల మరల చదువుచూ అది మనకు సజీవముగా మారే వరకు దానిని గురించి మనసులో మరల మరల గుర్తు చేసుకొనుట మరియు ఆ వాక్యము యొక్క సత్యము మన హృదయములో ఇంకి పోవుట. దేవుని వాక్యమును ధ్యానించు వానికి, దేవుని వాక్యము రొట్టె వలె మరియు జీవము అగును. కాబట్టి ఒక వ్యక్తి ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం జీవించాలి అని కోరినట్లయితే అతడు దేవుని వాక్యమును చదవాలి మరియు ధ్యానించాలి.

క్లుప్తంగా చెప్పాలంటే, నీటికాలువల యోరను నాటబడిన చెట్టువలె ఫలభరితమైన జీవితం కలిగిన వ్యక్తి ఎల్లప్పుడూ దేవుని యందు ఆనందించుచూ లోకమును మరియు దాని మార్గములను విసర్జించును.

మనలో చాలా మంది విశ్వాసులు దేవునిని తెలుసుకొని ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాలు అయినా కూడా ఫలాలు లేని జీవితం జీవిస్తున్నాము. అది ఎందువలన అంటే మనము పైన చెప్పబడిన సంగతులలో ఒక దానిని లేక కొన్నిటిని చేయక పోవడం వలన. అందుకే మరి ఈ రోజు మన జీవితాలను కీర్తనలు 1:1-3 తో సరి చూసుకొని, మనము ఎక్కడ తప్పి పోతున్నామో చూపించమని దేవునిని అడుగుదాం. అంతే కాదు ఆయన చిత్తమును పూర్ణముగా గ్రహించినవారమై, ప్రతి సత్కార్యములో సఫలులగుచు, దేవుని విషయమైన జ్ఞాన మందు అభివృద్ధి పొందుచు, అన్ని విషయములలో ప్రభువును సంతోషపెట్టునట్లు, ఆయనకు తగినట్టుగా నడుచుకొనుటకు (కొలస్సీయులకు 1: 10) తన కృపను ఇవ్వమని కూడా ఆయనను అడుగుదాం.
